I'd like to thank everyone who entered our first CAS Contest.  It was exciting having 11 entries!  Each Elvis was a little different, but it seemed to me that they all had something special that made them recognizable as "The King."  As Ladybug said, it was hard to choose just 3.  Kudos to everyone for the original and creative presentations also.  And for the creative writing you all used in your descriptions of your Sims - it was a lot of fun reading them!

Congratulations Joria!  Your Elvis looked great.

I had a lot of fun creating Elvis and seeing everyone elses.  And I am open to any comments on my entry.

Congratulations to Joria for winning the first CAS contest!

@Trip - I loved your Elvis and the screenshots you took. His clothing was rather plain compared to other entries but I liked that  :)

@ladybug53 - You also used really effective screenshots to show off your brilliant entry! Blue was a nice alternative to the traditional red.

@sethelD93 - You had a great mix of clothing colours and patterns which worked just as well as a colour theme. Again, great use of screenshots!

I am open for comments on my build  :D

Congrats Joria!  This was a very interesting challenge and everybody did an amazing job!

There's a saying I've heard about a difficult to navigate city - "You can't get there from here." Trying to work with CAS to create a face had me constantly thinking that phrase!   :P  The skill of the simmers here in working with such a difficult (to me) thing is super impressive.  It was a fun challenge to attempt.  As always I'm open to comments on my submission.

Ladybug - Excellent work, and I loved that you included a military touch to one of his outfits (picking up on the real Elvis' military service).

Trip - Really creative use of the uniform (I think the unlocked outfit is the male maid's uniform, but I'm not entirely sure).  Whatever it is in game it proved an inspired choice of clothing!

Sethel - You did a great job getting the 'sleepy/bedroom' quality to his eyes.  Really impressive.

Snuffles - I love your choice of location for the shots (Las Vegas/Lucky Palms) and his active luck with the ladies.  Great set ups!

Siergiej - Amazing work on his profile and a simply perfect pose of hip-shaking blue suede shoes.  I have no idea how you did that!

Goslett - I really loved the way you accented his features with makeup and gave him a delightfully 70s wardrobe (with some awesome retro athletic gear).  Really liked his overall style.

Such creativity in all the entries . I , myself have created a lot of sims but to create one to look like a real person is much harder . Bravo to everyone !

@ Vinyl - Loved your entry . His everyday outfit was just perfect . Showing him in the military was a great touch . I don't know how you pulled of the last screenshot but , it was amazing .

@ SethelD93 - Great entry and selection of screenshots . I wonder what Elvis wished for !

@ Trip - Great entry and selection of screenshots . I especially like the one getting out of bed . It looked like he was ready for whatever was planned for the day .

@ Snufflesxx - Great entry and selection of screenshots . I especially loved the sunset scene . It was perfect .

Thanks everybody.  There wasn't one single entry that didn't deserve to win.  You all did a great job with the love of my life, (to this day, lol), and made him live one more time.  It was hard for me to create my Elvis because I kept crying.  Too many teenage memories and sadness over his loss.  So a lot of love went into the effort and I know it was so for all of you.  Some of my inspiration came from this spot:

Enjoy the King one more time at that website.

This was a lot of fun. Congrats to Joria for winning, and thanks to Schipperke and Samoht for organizing this! I'd be more than happy to receive feedback for my entry.

@shaunta: I really like the cheekbones you gave him. It really adds definition to his face.
@Marwolfer: Love the red floral shirt on Elvis. Very nice touch with the blue suede shoes.
@ladybug53: I like how the overall colour scheme for Elvis is blue instead of red like a lot of others. It gives your Elvis some distinction.
@Snufflesxx: You did a really good job with his drooping eyes.
@GoslettM: Again, I love the colour scheme, and his outfits look so deliciously 70's.
@Joria: His face is so beautifully well-sculpted. He really looks like a real person, even more so than others.
@sethelD93: Those patterns on his clothes are great.
@Vinyl: That one outfit near the bottom left (formalwear, I'm guessing) is exquisite.
@Siergiej: I love how you have song lyrics from Elvis' songs under the pictures. Very nice touch.
@Trip: Very creative with using that maid's outfit for Elvis. Wouldn't have thought of that.

Congrats to Joria!!! I really do like your Elvis and the  screen shots where just wonderful as well as your biography of him! Congratulations to you and all the rest of us who participated in the first CAS contest! @Audren thank you so much I really enjoyed playing with the shape of his face. He had a very interesting look from so many different angles... I like the shape of your Elvis' face sorta young and boyish and very handsome.
