Teacher doesn't show up for lecture

I'm trying this expansion out for the first time and I'm in a pickle in the second term.

The rabbit hole classes are late (4-6 pm), but the activity and lecture are at 8 Am. Class goes off like normal, but the other two don't. I'm taking Communications, so the activity is in the Quad. I can still do it even though I'm listed as skipping class. But when I go to the lecture hall, the teacher never shows and I am listed as skipping class.

I am guessing the only thing I can do is use the time to study. I passed the first week, but it just bugs me that this happens. I searched all over and didn't see anyone complaining about it. So is this unusual?

Yeah, it happens to me too. At least half the time, the professor doesn't actually hold the lecture, but the game still acts as if s/he does, with students asking questions etc., so thankfully it does not have any negative effect.

I haven't had that happen in my little test file (she was in Business, he was in Technology). What happens if you try a resetSim on the professor and/or on everyone?
