Can't delete fog emitters!

I placed a fog emitter, and now I've changed my mind and it won't let me delete it or change it. If I try to click on it while holding ctrl + shift, nothing happens. How can I get rid of it?! I also tried turning move objects on, and it still can't be deleted.

If you did NOT save after placing the emitter you can go back to main menu.  You'll lose what you didn't save but will also love the emitter.
