Installing To A External hardrive (for mac)
« on: May 03, 2013, 10:59:49 AM »
Ok so I've been looking around and trying to decide if I should uninstall my sims from the hard drive and move to an external one. I am not sure if my memory can hold much more in it. When I open the Activity Monitor on my computer here are the stats
Free: 1.05 GB
Wired: 751.1 MB
Active: 1.05 GB
Inactive: 1.16 GB
Used: 2.94
We have 4GB memory installed and really cant afford to buy more right now. I've been looking around to see if The Sims could be handled on an external hard drive and to ask if that would help clear up some of the memory issues? Not all too tech savvy need all the help anyone could give me would be so helpful.
Oh yeah I have nearly all SP's [no sweet treats or master suite], a few patterns from the swap shop and over 100 pieces of store content.
