Entering Martial Arts Tournament

Hello all.  I was wondering how to enter Martial Arts tournaments.  I am maxed out on MA skill and am working on the challenges but cannot figure out how to enter tournaments.  Thanks and sorry if there is already a post about this.  I have searched for this topic but did not find it.  Thanks in advance.

When you are in China, use your cell phone to call Sim - sparring challenge or something like that (I forget the exact words).  A message will ask if you want to challenge Sim X - click yes and wait for that person to arrive.  When they come, introduce yourself and then you can click on the sim to challenge to a ranked sparring contest.  If you lose the first time, keep challenging until you (hopefully) eventually win.

To add to Schipperke's information, you can call the next ranked tournament contender from any lot in Shang Simla.  It can be the Base Camp, the Market, the Academy, Scholar's Garden, etc.  Wherever you are, the challenge Sim will come to you.  Usually with his/her entire family.

After you win 17 or 18 matches you should get the big wish to win the Tournament. It's worth a huge number of happiness points — close to 10k points. 20 wins is what's required to win it all.
