"No Jealousy" bug?
« on: April 21, 2013, 05:22:45 PM »
So, I was trying out a 3-member poly-amorous setup, and for a while it seemed to be working fine. All three members get the "No Jealousy" LTR, all are romantic interests and max relationship with the other two, and everything is fine. But all of a sudden, well into the game, household members A and B are making out, and I get a notice about "people around town taking notice" (you know the one, I'd gotten it several times before, and ignored it), and then member C gets un-canceleable "accuse of cheating" actions for both of them. What gives? Is there a way to avoid this?

That LTR has been broken since Generations, according to the Wiki.

Try adding Above Reproach and/or Stone Hearted, see if it helps! :)

Thanks, I'll give "Above Reproach" a shot. It really does look and act like a bug. I've gotten the "tone it down before someone gets hurt" message a good dozen times now, but only had any of my sims react the one time, and they were asleep at the time, even. Wish I could tell what triggered it so I could properly test its interaction with other LTRs...

I tend to just make sure that they're not in the room while the other two are at it.  That seems to help avoid it.

Thing is, I've had them be in the room with no issue whatsoever. The one time it came up, they were in different parts of the house, and the offended sim was asleep.
