Downloading & Placing Twallan's Story Progression Mod on a Mac?

 Hello all,
 I'm considering installing Twallan's Story Progression Mod on a Mac computer. Could anyone give me any pros or cons? Where to start? I've never installed mods before, so I would like to get up a general idea. I don't know if linking where to find the mod is acceptable or not in this board/ forum, but if it is could someone help...

We're allowed to talk about mods on the forum that's why we have this thread.  It all depends on how well your Mac handles the game.  StoryProgression is a heavy mod in the fact that it can really work a system so if your computer barely runs the game adding the mod isn't going to help but could hinder it due to the massive amounts of data that it works with.


Also - remember that all mods are banned from challenges though so if you do any dynasties or challenges, you would need to remove the mod every time you play that file or just have a separate Sims 3 folder from a factory reset that you rename when you want to play a non mod game.

 Ok, so I'm up to actually downloading the mod. My computer runs TS3 very well, so I'm not really afraid. I backed up my computer, so if it goes South, I can easily fix it. I've got the Mods folder, the Packages folder, and resource.cfg. Now my question is, how exactly do I need to go about downloading the mod and where do I need to put it in the Mods folder?

Just go to Nraas Industries website to download it.  Make sure to get the one for your patch level.  The mod will need to go into the Packages folder.   Twallan has a how to that's really good, too.

Don't forget to read his FAQs.  It's a great mod and I enjoy it thoroughly.
