I very much appreciate your remark, Chuckles. If the ticket/travel was not allowed, it should have been mentioned. If it was not allowed, I would not have tried to earn any before my one day of travel for fear of jeopardizing my file.

Actually it's not just traveling.  If you have the LTR and move the tickets out of your inventory and then move them back they will quadruple.  It's the fact that you got tickets without earning them that could be considered an exploit.   You have to actually cancel the actions to get them via skating so if you want to quit the action and start again it's not an exploit.  Much like the cancelling of a guitar while playing a song to increase your songs played.   

If you have 25 tickets, throw them in an alchemy chest and then take out 100.  That's an exploit.

If you're worried about something being a cheat or exploit, you don't simply ignore it or not saying anything because of strategy.  You PM the challenge team for a ruling.

It's the fact I got the tickets without earning them? I took my Sim over 25 hours to get them!
Also, I didn't know about the alchemy chest (interesting, though).
As I said, I never worried about it being a cheat or exploit, so I never felt the urge to contact the challenge team.

If you took 25 Sim hours to get all the tickets you used then why is it an issue?   If you took 25 sim hours to get 1/4th of the tickets you used then it's a different issue.  If it happened because of travel is one thing.  If you did it and then used those tickets, that's an exploit.  Just having the tickets is a game glitch.  Using them as part of strategy is using an exploit in my opinion.   

Did you use the extra tickets or did you only use the ones you earned?  The challenge team wasn't made aware of this so it was never mentioned in the rules.  If someone had brought it up.  we could have put it in the rules.  I didn't know about it until recently myself.

I collected 500 tickets. Upon return from travel I found I had 2000 tickets. I used all of them as part of my strategy. I did this in good faith, not with an intention of cheating or even thinking of it as an exploit.
But - as it is considered an exploit - this means that only one of my four seasonal gnomes is legitimate.

I suppose it would only be fair to substract 3000 points from my score.

It's quite alright, SimBlip...this was unintentional on your part and I will not be adjusting your score. If you discover potential exploits in the future then please do not hesitate to bring it to the team's attention because then we're all in the loop. Thanks.
