Corrupt items from exchange

I hope this makes sense.

I downloaded some sims & clothes from the exchange. All fine there.
But when a baby is born or adopted they are weird alien like things & the only way to sort them is to age up, then the toddler looks all alien like too. Until you edit them in CAS & change their clothes to toddler clothes. The reason for the weirdness is that for some reason they are in adult clothes.

So I have identified the items that I think cause the problem, as they were the same clothes a male sim showered in (female clothes)

My question is this: How can I find the items & delete/uninstall them? I've looked in tha game launcher on the 'installed' section but I can't see them there.

Is there anything I can do without removing all downloaded items?

They both recommend downloading and installing Delphys Dashboard or CUSTARD and using it to help fix your problems, as well as frequent checks of any CC before you put it into your game.

aaaaannd, I also found this tutorial on how to use Delphys Dashboard/CUSTARD.
