Can't go to lecture

I tried to go to the lecture at the student center, but everyone has been stuck at the door for hours.  My sim ended up missing the lecture.  Is this supposed to happen?

This has apparently started to become a common occurrence for players.   My advice would be that since Lecture is the only activity of the day to have your Sim arrive there early.

My sim wasn't stuck at the door, but the "go to lecture" would immediately drop from his queue. I sent him there manually, but no options came up for class related activities, and it still said he was "skipping class". I just had him sit in the lecture hall and "study hard", and he didn't lose any academic standing, although it does continue to say, "skipping class".  It happened the 2nd semester too, so I just did the same thing, without even going to the building.

Are you using any mods?  Twallan's mods are usually very reliable, but there was a problem with one this time around, and it messed up the Student Union building. 

If you were using the problematic mod, take out all your mods, start a new game in a new neighborhood, and send somebody to university.  Once you get to university, go into Edit Town mode and copy the Student Union building to your library.  Then exit the game.

Put your mods back in your game (replacing the faulty mod with the corrected version, of course), load the game you had been playing, go into Edit Town mode, and replace the messed up Student Union building with the fresh version that you just put into your library.

I just had an issue where my Sim dropped the action in his queue for going to lecture.  That's when I found out that if you have your Sim at the Union building when the lecture is going on, you can click on the Sim and there is an option to "Attend Lecture."   Fixed it right up.

Hi Corylea

I am using Twallan's mods and realise that my Student Union Building has problem and I have followed yr steps to copy new Student Union Building into Library Folders without using any mods.

Now, I face one problem - I cannot delete the student union building to replace with the new student union building. The message states that I need a cheat to unlock the building.

I have use "testingcheatsenabled true" followed by "enablelotlocking true". But I still cannot delete the student union building.

Can you advise whether I have missed out anything?
