Sketch pad
« on: March 18, 2013, 04:48:50 PM »
Anyone else's sketch pad say 'Missing texture'?

My rebel sim wanted to sketch a nudie portrait of one of those fine college boys, but when she sketched her portrait was blank except for the words 'missing texture'. Created a new game and had my tech sim buy a sketch pad and the same thing happened.

Anyone else encounter this? I guess it's a glitch? Sketching seems like such a cool thing but it's practically useless to me like this.

Did you clear caches in between trying?  Any mods, CC, overrides?

While a sim is nude during the sketching process, you don't actually make a nude sketch. Just don't want you to be disappointed after the effort your putting into it.

There's a thread about it here. If clearing caches doesn't work, I would try deleting your Thumbnails folder (in Electronic Arts > The Sims 3).

Hey guys! Update: Clearing my caches did work =) so my sims are happily sketching away.  On the sims 3 forum there are other people who had the same problem and clearing caches seemed to work for them also!
