Party host no-shows
« on: March 23, 2013, 10:11:28 PM »
I think I've experienced this once or twice before University but it's a bit ridiculous now. I'm being invited to a party every night, but the majority of the time when it's time to go to one, the host isn't at home. Normally they're living in a house too so either they don't have roommates or I don't know them, which means I can't visit the house at all. And then they text me later complaining I didn't go to their party. Well geez, neither did they! Is this annoying anyone else? It's sort of a minor thing, but it sure makes it hard to plan my schedule.

That happened to my guy twice! I got an invitation, and when it was party time I tried to go but she wasn't home. She lived in a sorority house, so he hung out and mastered diving while waiting on her. She never did show up so he went home, and than she couldn't believe he missed her party. It was annoying both times. He did go, she just never showed up.  ::)

It's happened in my game too.  I've started ignoring the party invitations because the "host" never seems to be home when the party is supposed to start.

I think it's because they get stuck somewhere.  When it happens to me (often) I just do a resetsim *, then go to the party.

I've had the same thing happen several times.
Like LeuceDeuce I reset the sim before the party time.
