Midsummer's Night Dream Park
« on: March 15, 2013, 07:56:35 PM »
Here is the second park I worked on.  It is a 40 x 40, also has all of the plants from the base game, SN and WA.  This one doesn't have a pond, unlike the Enchanted one.  Same aspect, the plants are all perfect except the money trees, they go from normal to great and I can't remember if it was this one or the Enchanted Garden that has the restrooms/showers made unbreakable.   There are spawners for alchemy gems and for alchemy insects along with some insects and butterflies just to give a nice look.

The link is the same for Enchanted, on the showboat thread in building on page 125.  I hope these work.   As is with the other park/garden, make any changes you want and if anyone likes it and wants to share it, as long as it doesn't break any rules, I have no problem with it.

Overview in daytime

Beehives, trees and some veggies in corner

Front entrance with patio area

section with nectar grapes

Overview of center area

Patio and bar area in evening

Fairy play area

Fairy area in front entrance

Nap time

Corner area of patio in back section

This is another view of the patio section and fairy area thought I had the bee hives here, but remembered that is in the Enchanted Garden

I hope this gives a better view of the park/garden.

I hope they just show up!

Sorry for so many mistakes, my first and probably going to be my last time putting something here.

Hi Janna,

I downloaded both gardens, but haven't had the chance to look at them in-game yet. I was wondering if they had any store content in them?

No, no store, no CC, didn't use any mods (don't have any)  just the plain old basics from the games.  I have seasons, but there are no plants to add so I just ignored it.
I should have remembered to note that, but  it slipped my mind to state that.  I was just so glad that I finally figured out how to put it here my mind were bye-bye (obvious in how I had to go back and add some things, and still missed one).

*Sigh*

Another one is that I am open to critiques on it.  Things that would make it better for anyone.

Thanks for letting me know.  There is one plant from Seasons that I can think of. Pumpkins. Not sure off the top of my head as to where to find them.

Ah-ha!! Searched SimsWiki and found this:

I looked at both of your gardens and couldn't decide which one I liked the best so I just downloaded them both. :) Thank you for sharing them.

Ms. Flynn,
I had forgotten about the pumpkins!  I know that the only plants that Pets has is the carrots and since I didn't reinstall that I didn't have them.

The market for MV is around $20 so that will be a while before I buy that, not high on my list of needs.  I probably won't get University, it sounds nice but not sure it is what I would want to play.  So, I will be missing out on those plants.

I am thinking of working on the plants that produce items that are not real type (don't remember, steak, egg?)   and then updating the gardens.  But not sure if I want to undertake that, hadn't considered it when I was first doing the garden.  Hadn't even planned to grow all of the plants to perfect, but then decided to do so.

Grimsoul, glad that you like them.   I am working on what I am thinking of as a world garden, the same plants, although I may go the route of the other plants, but have three ponds, one from each country.  I
Oh, man, I just got a picture in my mind, triangle, center fountain, patios, play area.  I know what I will be doing for the next few days   :)

Wow that's amazing! Loads of work went into this. I always admire people's patience to create farming parks that have perfect harvestables. :D Nice work!

Thank you,

I found a way to kinda cheat,  ;D.  Not really cheating, just made it so easy I don't mind doing gardens now.  It lets me be creative.  I had created my sim fairy couple and now I just go back to that town and pick out another lot.  I move them onto it and with the perfect plants in their inventory and with bloom, I can grow a perfect garden pretty quick.  Move them out to a house, do finishing touches and turn the garden into a community lot.    There's she grows!
