Reinstalling Sims 3 With Origin?

I want to reinstall my sims game, but I don't have some of my discs. I have them all in my Origin account, so I was wondering if I could install them with Origin? I have all the codes, just not my discs. Would installing them through Origin work? I don't want to take any chances uninstalling them if i cant install them again. Thanks!

If in doubt, contact EA! I've used Live Chat many times, and the representatives have been nice to me. Helped me fix my game a couple times, as a matter of fact... They can answer for sure if you can install them through Origin.

I tried, but I'm to impatient to wait any longer for a reply, it's been 2 weeks. I think you'd be able to, that's how I installed Seasons, but it seems like many people are having trouble with it. Plus, I'm always busy during live chats...

EA live Chats are amazing.   As for the other part - if you have registered your games on TheSims3.com then they are already available for download on Origin.
