Art Appraiser

My Sim, rebel that she is, was offered the Art Appraiser job soon after returning from Uni, and I turned it down as she had yet to finish her degree. I had to send her back a second round to complete. So now she's home with degree in hand and I cannot find how to get her the job. It isn't available via computer, smart phone or city hall. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you Try use your phone and upload her/his resume? I havent tried it, so not sure if it works

The Art Appraiser operates out of the Criminal building -- did you try clicking on that?

I did try the whole upload resume via smart phone and computer. No go.

One would think that the art apraiser would work out of the Art Gallery rather than the criminal hideout. That is unless they are actually a fence =)

There are two branches for the Art Appraiser job - Acquisition and Appraisal.   One does the museum auction/restoration thing while the other does the forgery thing.

Ahh neat.  I haven't even managed to get out of Uni yet. Looking foward to it  Too much going on that is stealing my sims play time!

I think it's a bit odd that Rebel Influence is a job metric for this career, considering you need maxed Rebel Influence to get the job in the first place... I suppose you need to maintain it, but a bit of street art and a rant now and then keeps that under control.
Is this the case for all the Social Group career paths?

Yes, it appears to be.

The sports agent career unlocked from jocks do not require maintaining your jock status. All it requires are your mood (obviously), co-worker relationships, charisma, and social networking skills.
