How are you guys finding this statue thing?  I'm not entirely sure if I'm supposed to turn him on before or after inviting people/party start/etc.  It tends to create a weird vortex of people changing and then unchanging and then changing again no matter when I do it.  I quite like the togas though.

I've had the same problem. It's fun and it gives a good moodlet but it's really annoying when they change clothes all the time.

I like that it gives every YA and older a +40 moodlet for being on the lot and you can set it so that they'll always be in their normal clothes (or formal, or swimwear, or the masquerade and togas). The downside of this is that sometimes it'll change the traits of sims on the lot to Inappropriate and Party Animal. The traits go back to normal when you turn it off though. Expect to see lots of forum trolling and autonomous stereo dancing if you leave it on too long.
