Thanks for the info.

Sorry about the switching of AS and MV.  I have been playing both to learn about them, switched what belongs with what town.

Is MV supposed to have some new plants?  Are those the decorative type, not garden type?  I saw some really pretty red flowers (I think they were poppies, not sure) but loved how bright and colorful they are.

There are new decorative and garden type both. The new garden type produce is Lemon and Purple Eggplant.

I bought MV a couple of days ago and started my couple, but am wondering some things.

The festival lots, can I use the ones from other towns, such as RV? Or do I have to use the one from the exchange?

Where is the Learning Center for kids?  I can't find it and don't know if I am overlooking it or what.

Also the Elixer store, I haven't found it, so has it not been added to the town and and I have to place it where I want?

I'm not finding hardly any seeds, gems or metals, does it not have very many or am I just missing them?

There is a Monte Vista Fetival somewhere on The Sims 3 Exchange. It goes where the ruins are.

I checked on buydebug for those two plants, and they weren't there.  Could have missed, but don't think so, searched several times for it, but...

I don't have any other store worlds, if they have plants on there, but not showing it, that is why.  Strange though, you could have a sim collect it that town, move her to the town where the garden is and plant it.  You would have to make it a residence and then change it back to community, but is doable.

Guess I'm going to have to hunt them up if I want them in my community garden and see if I can transfer them to my community gardens.

The eggplant and lemon only came with the Al Fresco Market that was separate from Monte Vista.  It had to be purchased separately from the town so it's plants don't come with Monte Vista.  And once you do have them, they don't appear in Buydebug anyway.

Does anyone know what ingredients each of the recipes from the wood fire oven uses?

I just made an extra cheesy pizza and I know it used up at least an excellent cheese that my sim had in the inventory, and it came out to be outstanding.  Now I'm curious about the rest!

I'm loving this oven, especially since it also gives the Freshly Baked moodlet for 4 hours.

Is the fire oven pizza stuff with Monte Vista or the Al Fresco Street Market.  I have the town, but not the market.  I'm not thrilled with it, but it's a different town to play, at least.  And why does everyone wear sunglasses?  Seriously, everyone in my relationship panel has on sunglasses.

The oven comes with the town. It is available in Buy Mode and there is one already in the town at the public pizzeria. It is strange how everyone wears sunglasses, I have no idea why they do that.

Is the oven with the kitchen stoves, the outdoor grills, or somewhere else?

You can find the wood fire oven under Stoves in the Kitchen section, under Outdoor Cooking, and in Large Appliances under the "Sort by Function" tab.

The sunglasses is an Italian (in Italy, rather than Italians in the US) stereotype. Doesn't stop it being annoying, though!

I find the sun glasses charming and sooooo Italy.  *waves hands around a lot while typing talking*

I just went in and redid Monte Vista to suit my needs.  I had to place a couple of lots myself but I really didn't want to take out any lots they had there.  I didn't place all the LN lots yet, (and might not), but I did use the UC outdoor market found in the swap shop, and turned the huge cafe into a Coffeehouse with a stage and an area for a hot air balloon.  Some of the other venues were harder to fit just because the rabbit hole ones just didn't fit the atmosphere of the town but they are all there.  Let the shows begin!

One thing I found that was annoying was gates don't lock in Monte Vista.  I've tried several gates in several places, and while you can place a fence and a gate, you can't lock the gates, so zombies can wander where they will.  The only option I've found, other than ResetSim, is to actually build a wall and put a door in it.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!
