What happened this time?

First let me preface I love this guide and I am not complaining but I am curious...


What happened with this EP, normally almost all of the EP's info is out when it comes out this time it has been 10 days and only a bit of info has been released.   Did this guide get special permission in the past to play/build a guide for the game early and that is no longer the case, or is it something else?  Again I love this guide and mean no offence I am just wondering what happened this time (and kinda last time with seasons)?

It may be that some of the more experienced players and members who normally contribute have become bored, so Carl is having to do a lot more himself. Plus I know that there are other game guides that he is committed to.

There may be a lot of things that require testing and retesting, as well, to determine if Working As Intended or Horrible Glitch. Also, the normal contributors do also have work/family life that requires attending.

However! I'm sure if you have some information you would like to add to the guides, and/or write one yourself, I'm pretty positive Carl would appreciate your assistance.

I could share some info but I know nothing for coding and guides and such or even how to offer info.

Do I do it via a post here? Do I need permission?

 I didn't know the guide was so dependent on others I thought carl was just that great lol (I knew some of the LTW guides were done by others but thats it)

Carl has published nine guides for University Life so far.  This expansion has much more content than earlier ones that require Guide pages.  Carl is dedicated to Sims 3 during this time while he's writing the University Life Pages.  He was also sick for about a week and that set him back some.  Not to worry.  He'll get them out as quick as he can.
