Problems after Installing University Life. Please help!

Okay, so I just bought the University Life expansion and when I click on "Enroll in University" from their phone or computer they get all ready and start leaving. The game then goes through that loading process and then I get to the new town and my Sims disappear. It takes me to "Lets get started!" I had this problem with World Adventurers too.

So then I think of making a new game ( I don't want to but what else can I do?), So then I try and save my household to my Library so I don't have to start completely over and it won't even let me save them! I click on Save to Library and then once it's done saving they don't appear in the Library. Is this just me? Please can someone help me with this!

I am having a similar problem. I started a new game which I really didn't want to do and it started to work fine but I still can't get my original family to work.
Also, you could go into edit town mode and share your family. It won't be posted to the exchange if you don't want it to but it will get saved to the library. I was able to do it that way.
