Can't find glowy fly

I did a search and saw it might be due to a mod, but I can't find any mod that would conflict with it (all I have are hair and clothes) it always just spawns the zephr butterfly.

I am not quite understanding the post.  Are you saying you can't find glowy fly or asking where to find it?  I know if you are trying to find it in buydebug, it is hard to come by, if you use a spawner.  I have never had any luck with it myself.

The Glowy Fly does spawn at night on the little island in the river in France.

I was searching for the Glowy Fly just yesterday! I had heard that it can be found around the entrance to Thuala's Garden, in the Garden, and on the island that the Garden leads to. I collected most of the insects I could find a few times so new ones would spawn, and after several sim days I was becoming frustrated, but then they appeared in the Garden! I'm so happy lol

When my sim bought that little house right across from that island, that was really neat.  I could tell each day if the glowy fly was there or not.  I think three out of six days of vacation, the butterfly showed up and she missed it once, so she at least got two of them.  I wasn't sure if you could find them anywhere else or not.
