Breaking up is hard to do

  I've considered inviting foreign visitors that I've become good friends with but I'm thinking it would be much harder to get rid of them. 

It's not hard to get rid of foreign visitors - just ask them to leave when you're ready for them to go.  It's not necessary to have them stay overnight.

When I did that challenge, I had no problem finding 8 men.  I can't remember them all, but both Frios were on the list, Christopher Steel, Cyclone Sword, Leighton, Thornton Wolfe, and some new guy that had just moved to town.  I think the other might have been Simis Bachelor.  She tried Gobias, but he seemed to be immune to her charms.

I think I may have just waited a bit too long in my game to go on a man hunt.  Stiles was taken right away, (he was my first choice as I remembered him as being an easy target), Christopher Steele was my next choice and first romance.  One Frio was not at all impressed with me and I was going to try the next one but neither one sounds good.  I just really hate looking for a love interest I guess.  It made Legacy a real pain for me but you have to have heirs so I accepted the first likely candidate, (usually Christopher).

I think I'll try the foreign visitors, providing my pc cooperates and doesn't just trash my game again.

If Push comes to Shove, Joria, why not make a few random Sim families of eligible bachelors? It's relatively easy, if you click the random button in Create-A-Sim and just give 'em good traits and such. I don't recall the rules of Legacy, but I didn't think I saw a rule stating you can't plop down new families in your town.  If there is, maybe take off aging for a bit, and let the world progress around you- People move in and out all the time in my towns with High Free Will.

If neither of those work for you, you can do the 'Age Trap' trick I figured out. If there's a potential teenager you have a high level of friendship with, or if there's better looking teenagers and you know a few (Get a good relationship with 'em first if so), buy a birthday cake and invite them over. You can age anyone on the lot with a birthday cake-Literally, anyone, even guests and people working for you. I did it to get my first generation's son's childhood friend to teenager. I know that birthday cakes are against the rules of most Legacy games, but if you're desperate, that's my suggestion.

That's good advice, Tolling Bells, but Joria is playing one of our challenges called Random Wishmaster's Quartet and she's not allow to make new families for the town.  Hehe.

As for Pinstar's Legacy, the rules state that you can add families to the town, but your legacy members cannot marry them.  They have to wait until the next generation is born.  They can marry the offspring of the added Sims, but not the new Sims themselves.

Oh darn.  That makes me incredibly sad. Ah, well, perhaps she could use the Age Trap trick if she needs to. Sorry my suggestions didn't help, Joria!

Ok, I did it, and without lowering my standards, (much).  I needed ONE more guy.  So when I was burglarized I freed the guy, made him my friend and then my romantic interest and wined and dined.  TAH DAH!  (pats self on back)  The policewoman was not pleased but hey, I didn't want to date HER.  lol  He actually, (Robbie Bland), is a rather nice guy who wants to become a famous musician but circumstances led him to a life of crime.  I think when the challenge is over for me I'll marry him and see he gets all he wants.  I'm certainly rich enough and I DO own the theatre. lol  He's quite good looking too.  One guy I dated, (the fire fighter), wore flippers all the time.
