Pangu's Axe, still invisible.

I'm where the axe should be, and it isn't there.  I followed the map provided on this page, my sim walked past the trigger, the trigger lights went in all directions, but the axe didn't appear.  I'm confused and tired of trying to get this invisible axe into the inventory, lol.  What am I missing?

Are you sure you didn't take Pangu's Axe before with another sim on the sime file?

If you haven't already taken it with another sim, please check this thread (quite a long read, but still) and see if it helps.

Lol, sadly - this is the first time I have managed to find it, so no other Sim has taken it.  I will read the long post - and thanks to all of you for your help!
