Light sleeper sim

I have two sims in my current game, neither have the "light sleeper trai"t, but since patch 1.50, one of the sims wakes up and complains every time the second sim either gets into bed after the problem sim or gets up before said "light sleeper".  I've had to give my couple seperate bedrooms because of this.  Any ideas? as I'd like my couple to have a baby, but, don't want to extend my house again, it's already bigger than I normally like.  Mr Sim is currently using the room I had earmarked as a nursery.

I have had this problem off and on, even before the patch came out.  Neither one of them have the light sleeper trait.  I don't have any idea as to how to fix it, except when the sim gets up when the other goes to bed, I just send her back to bed and then it is fine. :)
