I'd been having glitches running the game post Patch 1.50, so I deleted my two save files and tried to start another game (a redo for my BBIV challenge file, in fact).
The new neighborhood (AP) seemed to load faster than normal, but when I go into buy mode, the console will not load past the select tools (the hand tool, blueprints, etc - those 8 things). I have all my graphic settings on the lowest possible, so it definitely shouldn't be taxing my computer at all, the lot is totally EMPTY except for a few default trees. The spinning blue loading circle is still going, 30 mins later.
I can no longer switch modes - back to live or build, etc. Is a full reinstall my only option at this point? (There's a couple more posts of my glitches over in the BBIV thread which I can bring over if someone wants to see it.) Thanks in advance for the help!
