Hey everyone! I managed to get the family saved to the bin so, even though Kathy is still a teen, the family will be moving on to Lucky Palms! *happy dance, happy dance*

However, Leighton, Sam and Katy (and the dogs) won't be joining them. Leighton is stuck on that free vacation opp and I've tried everything to restore him but my efforts have been fruitless. Sam had girlfriend I wanted to move in but I couldn't because I couldn't control Sam. I decided to leave him in his hometown to stay with her. Katy, however, is not leaving for a technical reason. Oh no, I've got MUCH bigger plans for Katy...

So expect lots of chapters soon! I've still got a few more Sunset Valley chapters to write (which include the introduction of a new character!) as well as the beginning of the Lucky Palms chapters.

Stay tuned!

Kathy's Journal Entry #3 : Growing older

It wasn't long before our birthdays came around again. My childhood had seemed short. Too short. Had I done everything that I'd wanted to do as a kid? Almost. I never got around to doing that bake stall, but that was about it...

Katy went to the cake first, as she's the eldest...

Then me... (*gulp*)

And finally, Kitty.

We were all appalled by the clothes and hair we aged up in (they were all too hideous to show!) so we ran off to the mirror to get ourselves looking presentable.

Katy:

Kitty:

And me (sorry about my lack of head shot):

As teens, we can pursue our hobbies more. Katy is still fond of chemistry.

I started on my athletic skill, despite getting a bit panicked about it beforehand.

And Kitty... well she doesn't really have a hobby, unless you count laughing at the misfortune of others.

Katy's chemistry is obviously taking off, judging from what she gave me the other day.

Katy: For you, Kathy. I know how much you've wanted make your imaginary friend real and here's the answer! Have him drink this and he'll become real!

I was excited, there's no denying that. But was Katy pulling my leg? Was she kidding around? There was only one way to find out...

Francisco: I'm a real boy!

And handsome too! Look at that face!

I took him to the mirror and he picked out some new hair. But he was adamant on keeping his clothes, because they're special to an imaginary friend.

He's a charmer, that's for sure. He gave me a big bouquet of red roses the other day.

It was plain to see that he liked me. And that I liked him back. So we kissed.

Kitty: Urgh, get a room!

And then he even asked me to be his girlfriend! I actually have a boyfriend *squeels like an overexcited teenage girl... yes*

Kathy's Journal Entry #4 : A sudden move

It all happened so fast. Sam, who had come home from Fort Starch Military School and aged up in a young adult, had won a free holiday for Mum, Dad and himself. We were all okay about it. We didn't hold any teen parties, probably on account of the fact that none of us knew any teens outside our household.

But it was two days later when everything went wrong. Only Mum came home. We asked where they were but she just told us to pack a bag. I asked her what was happening but she didn't answer me.

She told us that Chico, our dog couldn't come with us. We rang a shelter to come and pick him up.

We took a taxi to the airport, which is just outside of town. It had been the first time we'd ever been there, and it should have been fun, but it was just scary and confusing. There was planes to top holiday destinations, such as Shang Simla and Al Simhara, as well as ones to other towns and cities, like Appaloosa Plains and Bridgeport. Mum dragged us over to a different plane, which was bound for Lucky Palms. Where's Lucky Palms, I'd asked myself. I'd never heard of it!

I turned around, and counted us. Mum, Kitty, Francisco, me... WHERE WAS KATY?!. I looked around and called her name, over and over again. But a huge security guard pushed me forward to go into the plane. I kept calling, then starting crying. Francisco took my hand in his and gave me a hug.

"She'll be okay, Kathy." He told me.
"How do you know? How do you know that she'll be okay?" I cried in despair.
"Well, between you and me, she told me where she was going."
"Really? Where?"
"She's got big dreams, Kathy. Dreams of science that nobody has ever comprehended before."
"What kind of science?"
"Immortality. That's what she's heading for, Kathy. Immortality."

I was stunned. How could Katy achieve immortality?

But I didn't have long to think about it before I heard to roar of the engines. We rumbled along the runway and the plane took off. I gazed out the window and, though it might have been my imagination, I'm certain I saw a girl dressed in pink, her hair as black as coal, waving. I waved back, not knowing if this would be the last I'd ever see of Katy, of Sunset Valley, of my old life. I turned to Francisco, who was sitting on my right. He smiled at me and took my hand. For the first time today, I smiled, knowing that, even if I'd lost my dad, my dog and my favourite sister, I still had him and Mum and Kitty and Hershel, who was sitting quietly in his seat, listening to his MultiTab.

So, what does Lucky Palms hold me and my family? What adventures await us in this new land? Well, there's only one way to find out...

If you didn't know, this chapter is based on the fact that I had to move early and because Leighton was messing things up, I had to leave him behind. I don't have a particular reason for leaving Sam behind, I suppose I was just sad that he'd lost his Dad and he also had a girlfriend there. Katy, however, is starting her own Immortal Dynasty! I'll post a link as soon as I get it up!

Here are Sam's (YA) and Hershel's (Teen) makeovers, which I seem to have neglected.

There's actually a guy in my immortal dynasty (generation four's uncle) that looks a lot like Hershel. Scary stuff! Good thing they're both handsome.

I'm glad you were able to salvage the family, and I'll be reading Katy's dynasty too. :)

Kathy's Journal Entry #5 : Say hello to Lucky Palms!

We arrived in the sunny Lucky Palms early one morning. Mum already had a house purchased and we headed straight for it. Here's a picture of us all standing outside.

And here are the pictures of the house itself. These are the pictures before the renovation.

And these are the pictures after the renovation. The room on the right of the first picture is Mum's room. On the second picture, my bedroom is on the left, then Hershel's winter themed room, and Kitty's gothic bedroom on the right.

Francisco has a little bed in my room that isn't shown in those pictures.

We decided to have a dip in our new pool, which had been enlarged. It was a beautiful sunny day and I couldn't be happier.

Kitty, however, decided to leave early to go and sign up at the spa as a receptionist. I hope she doesn't let her evil nature shine through, because she'll end up getting sacked if she's rude to the customers.

We'd bought some fitness equipment for me, Mum and Kitty, and I was the first one to try it out. I probably don't look like it, but I'm athletic, so I'm really into my fitness.

Francisco was stupid clever to remember his homework, from our school in Sunset Valley. We're going to start in the Lucky Palms school, but apparently the homework is still valid. He did it by the poolside, in his swimming trunks. It was lucky that Kitty was out because she would have splashed water all over it.

Mum spent the rest of her afternoon in the hot tub. She's never had such luxury in her whole life, so I was glad to see her relaxing.

Among some of our other new purchases was a Bonhilda coffin. Mum thought it would be a better investment than hiring a maid or butler. But at least a maid or butler wouldn't scare me to death! She's seriously creepy!

And it's even creepier when she's watching over you will you sleep.

Our first day in Lucky Palms didn't go completely smoothly. We got a burglar on the first night!

Bonehilda caught them before they even entered the house, and Mum rang the police. However, the burglar still managed to get away! Urgh, this police force needs to get their act together! I wonder if I could ever be in the police...?

The next day, it was time for our first day of school. Kitty left early in a taxi (apparently the bus was too shabby for her) so I was left sitting all alone, because Francisco wanted to spend time with Hershel, who is like a brother to him.

While we were out, Mum headed to the salon to get a tattoo. I asked her why, and she said that it would make her feel young. I don't know about that, but it sure looks good on her.

Lucky Palms is so exciting and I just can't wait to do some more exploring!

Welcome to The Kennedy in the Lucky Palms :3

Well, yeah! Bohehilda is scared me to death, I rarely use her because she is creepy.
But, I'm glad that she can deal with the burglar so the Kennedy stay safe. I haven't explore Lucky Palms more, so it will be awesome if I can see more of Lucky Palms from you.

Well, good luck for both stories :D

I'm so sorry but my computer seems to have had the equivalent of a heart-attack and, despite my Dad trying for hours, I just cannot access anything on my computer. I'm terrible when it comes to making back-ups and stuff like that so I'm sad to say that this is (most likely) the end to all my stories. After much weeping, my parents promised me a new laptop which I'm getting today so after a full re-install I might consider starting one of these challenges again (though not all at once this time!)

So sorry to everyone who was enjoying this and my other stories.

It's not a great computer, actually. I can't even play on settings higher than low or maybe medium. Thankfully, laptops seem to have improved quite a bit since I first bought mine so hopefully I should be okay next time.
