Sims 3 wiki malware?
« on: February 09, 2013, 04:57:09 PM »
I don't know if this is right place to post this, but both google chrome and avast have been throwing up malware alerts when I got to some sections of sims 3 wiki (mainly researching sims in towns) anyone else having this issue?

One of my friends says that pretty much any page with an ad is getting flagged as malware by Chrome, no matter how harmless it actually is. I use Firefox and Kaspersky, and they don't have any problems with the Wiki.

I regularly visit the sims wiki, and have never received alerts about possible malware. I use Firefox (with an ad blocker) and Avira Anti-virus, though.

I have that issue on my main computer, but when I view it on my laptop, I have no issues at all. At least I'm not the only one that's been having this problem
