My game won't save after I build a house

This is pretty major considering that it's my Life States challenge game. I've tried making a house but when I went to save it said that the game wasn't responding and closed it down (without saving). I tried another two times, making a similar house to the first one, and again when I went to save the game closed itself down. I tried playing for a while without building a house and the game saved fine. Could anybody tell me how I could solve this? I don't really want to start my Life States again because my Founder is nearly halfway through his requirements

This has been happening a lot since Seasons came out. As far as I know, the only fix is to go to edit town and evict your family with their home. Bulldoze their lot, then move them back in. Should work just fine after that, but just to be safe, save your game before building, and don't build too much at a time without saving it, so you don't lose too much if it crashes again.
