On the main menu of the base game the Sims 3 (PC) it shows no saved games (I had a ton before) Yet I click on the invisible saved games and it says I'm missing an expansion pack apparently that is supposedly supposed to go with it? I don't know what went wrong but I have done the following that may have caused that problem...
-I contacted EA games (Live chat) for invalid serial code, they asked for my origin info and so I gave it but then this (New) Sims 3 game mysteriously appears under my games? Though when I tried to "play" it, it said launching and that it synced cloud data... However I did not install this... And without having the "Go Social, All New Ways To Connect And Play With Life" logo, it hadn't had it, and the sims that it was showing on the cover were different then the game cover I recently installed.
-I went on the official website of the Sims 3, and I clicked on "The Exchange" and downloaded and installed some things...
-I thought the installed content was causing the saved file disappearance, so I x'ed them all and deleted them. (Yet it still showed when I went on and made another game just to try things out, it accidently hadn't saved it afterwards.)
Could it be that because I deleted some custom content (Which I had even before the saved games "mysteriously" disappeared, yet I can't trust my memory so I wouldn't know)
Also my father is suggesting that I am to re-install the game. Would that cause my saved games to be deleted in The Sims 3 folder?
Also, please note that I still see my saved files under Documents, Sims 3, and under Saves. I deleted the .bad ones, yet that won't work.
