Game Glitching

Recently my game has started glitching, I am getting a bit worried since when I started a brand new BP game I entered a household and the game glitched completely. I have checked for any CC that may have come in but could not find anything, is a reinstall the only thing I can do? Also my EADM won't work and my Launcher is often not responding and staying open even after I press Play or close, I sometimes have to Task Manager it away.

Exactly what kind of glitching are you experiencing other than the EADM and Launcher?  Mine does that and I just ignore it because it's not causing a problem with my gameplay.

I have encountered a strange buzzing noise and then glitching, followed by a CTD. But then again, that has bled over to other games, so maybe it's just my computer which needs vacuuming.

I can't get pictures but it's like the objects in the game morph into weird shapes and morph into each other, the UI disapears even after pressing Tab and Tab again. The Launcher I could not get the message to come up but it just stops responding after I open the game up sometimes.
 It says that EADM can not connect?

I'm getting the same things with the launcher and download manager (it started before Late Night), but I'm not sure about the others without seeing a picture.  I'm having some odd things sometimes, but it's not keeping me from playing.  Plus, my game crashes much less since I did the fresh reinstall when Late Night was released.  I just close the launcher once the game starts and it seems to be fine.  You might just need to do a clean reinstall.

I get the launcher and/or the download manager messages every time I play.  I just cancel them before the game loads and as far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to affect anything in the game.  I haven't had trouble downloading store purchases but I wonder what will happen when the next patch comes out.  Will we be able to access the patch if the download manager isn't working properly?

I was able to access today's new patch with no problem, even with the launcher not working properly.

I have also had problems with my EADM download manager not opening as well as the Sims Launcher crashing as soon as I pressed play to start the game.  This never caused any problems with the game itself that I am aware of, but I would always get a message saying the launcher had crashed.  Today I realized that there was also a new update for EADM (not sure how long ago it came out), and after I installed it I was able to open EADM and no longer received messages that the launcher had crashed when I started a game.

Note: This update is for EADM, and the latest version is 7.1.4.31.  This update is in addition the Sims 3 patch that is available from the Sims Launcher.  Sorry if that’s obvious, but I know some people get the two confused.

I opened it up after the update and no problems it also seems that there is a launcher patch.

possibly OT ... downloaded the latest patch today.

EA have done NOTHING about the major problems with WA, which is now effectively unplayable.  The 'fix' on the Firefighter career in Ambitions seems to have made it worse [our FF was invisible, as were the people he was trying to rescue].

In fact, I see no point in Sims anymore.  That's a shame, after 10 years of every version and every EP.
