Morning, all (well, it's morning where I am right now) I've been playing Supernatural and really having fun with it but all of a sudden I'm getting the dreaded "Error 12 message and I had a few things I was wondering about. First, I know it's a memory issue with the game, so I was wondering if I put my Sims on a "stuff" diet, would that help? I mean, do I have their home and environment loaded up with too much stuff that requires too much memory on the part of the game to maintain: Alchemy set, gemcutter, greenhouse items -- you know, all the fun premium stuff one loves to load up on. That plus a large family and loads of furniture and the like, even the diving board in the pool has it's own code, right? So what do you think -- is there a correlation?
I've been trying to keep all of their inventory to a minimum but I was wondering if having things in their personal "backpacks" used more coding than having the stuff in the house -- does putting the gems on display use less memory than having them carry the stuff around? Are books better off in the book cases than being carried around? Or does it matter at all?
Can it be that using cheats like transporting from place to place is a lot to handle?
I know I'm throwing a lot of questions out there but just trying to find a way to have a better game for a longer time and be able to save it as well.
Well, happy Simming, everyone, and thanks!
