Slowdown in Celebrity Freebies?

Has anyone else noticed celebrity sims getting gifts less frequently recently?  It used to happen like clockwork every couple of days in the celebrity families I played, but now it's maybe once a sim-week to once a sim-month!  I know it used to happen often enough to base a challenge around the mechanic.

My game didn't get patched up for a long time (until around Seasons), which makes me wonder if it's because of a relatively recent patch.  Or maybe my celebrities are all really unlucky now!

My Sims families still get their freebies, yeah it's like what you said, it's not too much often like it before though.
Maybe it's have something to do with the recent patch, I think. I coudn't think more.

I've never had more than a very occasional gift, even with several 5-stars in a household, so it doesn't feel any slower to me now. But I still get spammed with stuff via the attraction system.
