Thumbnails of individuals in map view

When I go to map view, I see thumbnails of individual Sims displayed over the buildings they occupy.  When I hover over the picture I get a synopsis of that Sim ( name, current finances, emotional state).  How to I switch that off and on? If I'm just looking for a building to go to all those pictures clutter up the screen.  I have Nraas Story Progression and Master Controller installed.

The "map tags" are part of Story progression. You can turn them off. Personally, I like them because they tell me what the townies are up to.

In general I like them, but sometimes I just want to navigate around town and don't want to see them.  How do I switch them on and off?

Thanks from me too.  I never knew what map tags were, but I'd seen them mentioned on the mod site.  Now I know!
