Problem for my sim's age
« on: January 19, 2013, 02:06:14 PM »
My Problem that when I start a new game with a new sim (young adult) , his age gets older, I mean the "green line" of his age be longer.

Like in this picture:

How can I solve it?
Note: I deleted all Sims 3 Documents in C\Program files but the problem still appear.

Welcome to the forum Mohab Hoba!

I removed the centering & colored text from your post to keep with forum standards.  We prefer everyone keep the left justification and only use black text to keep the forum looking neat & tidy.

As for your problem, when you start a new game, it is random on how many days in the Young Adult lifespan your Sim will have left.

An example: Normal lifespan says that the number of days in the Young Adult stage is 21.    A sim made in CAS and then placed in town will have anywhere between 21 days to 7 days until their next birthday.   There are mods that fix this but really it's just a normal part of gameplay and it doesn't mean anything is wrong with your game.

If you don't want your sim to age at all, you could turn aging off in the options menu.

If you own the Generations Expansion Pack and want your sim to remain young and beautiful forever, but have the rest of the neighbourhood wither and die, you can craft a Young Again Potion on the chemistry set which resets your sims "green bar" to the first day of the Young Adult Life Stage when you drink it, another option to avoid all that is have your sim save up 65000 Lifetime Happiness Points and buy the Age Freeze Potion, which stops them from aging FOREVER.

And my final idea to (hopefully) help your issue, is to have your sim max the cooking, gardening, and fishing skills, buy the Ambrosia recipe book at the Book Store, and make a meal.

Alternatively, grow "life fruit" and have your sim eat one, or more, each day.  Each fruit eaten will increase the sims life by one day.   You will need a high gardening skill to grow the "special" seeds, some of which will be life fruit.  Life fruit can also be found in a tomb in Egypt and another in France.  Once you can grow life fruit you can (if you have World Adventures) also create a nectar with them that will increase life-span each time the sim drinks it.  If you have showtime, you can also get the genie to extend the sim's life.
