Genie Lamp from Egyptian catacombs

Hey Everyone,

Not sure why but there are no possible interactions with the genie lamp my vampire sim got while exploring the catacombs in Egypt.

She's still in Egypt so I was wondering if that's why it's not possible ... are the genie lamps only usable on home lots, though she is in her vacation home?

Are there genie lamps that don't contain genies... I haven't played genies yet so not sure what's the go.

I tried using a genie lamp, obtained in the usual way, while on vacation.  It was non-interactive.  However, it became usable on returning home.

I sent my sim home early and she was able to use the lamp then.
