Problem since new patch FIXED

So I installed the new patch and attempted to play the game. But it said NO DISK FOUND! So I tried ejecting and cleaning the disk numerous times. It still doesn't work. What do I do?

I've had problems because of a broke CD/DVD player, my nephew threw it and it broke. You could install the last EP through Origin, if you do, no disc is required. The Origin method will work, not sure if the linked will for you, but you could give it a try.

Corey - you're still on a Mac right?  So Origin won't be out for you for another 6 weeks or so. 

Try uninstalling your last EP and reinstalling it.  Make sure to move your Sims 3 folder to the desktop to keep it safe.  But see if this helps any.

Thanks, but It's fixed now. I just needed to close the application then re-open it again.
