How can i stop pet adoption

Nothing is more annoying then playing a family, changing households, coming back to that family later to realise that in your absence they have adopted 3 horses. i swear i uninstalled pets because of this.

i have twallans mods and i chose "stop pet adoptionً= true" but that didnt so anything.

help..?

All you have to do is adopt them to the shelter, or sell them.

The stop pet adoption option I think is only intended for stopping your neighborhood from offering pet adoption.  You remembered to remove pets from your story progression options in the game, right?

With the population controls settings you can turn pets off, so townie households will not adopt them.
