Part Time Film Career Not Available

In a challenge file, I was planning to have two Sims join the part-time Film career, but it was not available. I don't think adult Sims were able to join the regular Film career either. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just a glitch?

I have all expansion packs and I am fully patched.

And you're absolutely certain you remembered to place the studio?  If you did place the studio, does it have the correct map tag?  Did you place just the rabbit hole or was it a lot?   EA lot or UC lot?  If you choose that building, does it have any interactions or none?

Yes, because I tried clicking on it to have them join the career.

Oh wow more questions. Okay, I don't remember now, I have to check in-game. I know it had other options though, like Tour the Studio. I placed the lot from the Lots menu that came with Late Night. It's the EA lot.

I made sure to turn celebrities on and leave 'Opt Current Household Out of Celebrity System' unchecked. There are celebrities in my town too.
