My sim is stuck and passing it on to other sims

I have a vampire Sim who went on a date and I forgot it was day light and she got stuck and won't move, I had male vampire Sim(from the same household) gaze at her and she got unstuck and the male is stuck. I did reset them to home and one Sim in my household is always stuck. Whatever Sim interacts with the Sim who is stuck gets stuck Sim unstuck and Sim who interacted then gets stuck. I have tried everything, everything I have read says to reset Sims or reset all Sims in household, this is not working. I have tried to restart game multiple times and make them Sim join a group or do something absolutely nothing is working! Please help me! Thanks.

Have you tried the universal "resetsim *" to reset the entire town?  Another thing to try is evict the family to the clipboard in Edit Town, then put them back into their house.  This will sometimes get rid of a glitch in the file.

I've never heard of the universal resetsim cheat. Do you not type a person after "resetsim" and put in an asterisk (*) instead, like in your example?

Al you type is just resetsim *
The whole town will reset. I do it in the night or early in the morning.

I do not have vampires, but, don't think it makes any difference what the sim life state is.

Whatever time, day or night, that you type resetsim", all the sims in the town are returned to their home.  As your sims will return home, I wouldn't think being a vampire would be a problem.

Remember, that the sims in the community facilities, such as the consignment store will also be reset.  So, you will not be able to use these facilities immediately.  The staff should return quite quickly though. 

If this does not work, then do as Pam says and evict them.  When returned to their home there is a very good chance that the problem will be resolved.
