I married the pizza delivery guy
« on: November 17, 2012, 02:38:37 PM »
And I've had no option/pop up for him to move in with me.  :o
Is it because he doesn't seem to actually reside in the town? I've looked at all the houses and he doesn't seem to actually live in any of them. How can I get him to move in so I can take control of his life?!  >:(

It sounds like it's the bug in the latest patch where the moving box doesn't appear after marriage.

Try inviting him over and using friendly socials until you get the "ask to move in" option as a workaround.

As Smartburn said, this is a new bug in the game.  Normally, you would get a screen to move the spouse into your house no matter who your Sim marries.  The pizza delivery guy is one of the NPCs (non-playable characters) in the town, which means he doesn't have a house.  He just appears whenever you order a pizza.  Other NPCs include the maid, firemen, policemen, repair person, babysitter, etc.

I'm moving this over to the Miscellaneous Help board because it deals with actual gameplay rather than the technical mechanics of the game.

Thanks for your suggestions. I saw him playing the virtual reality helmet game and he seemed like a douche so I had an affair with someone else :P

The plus side is that since the married couple doesn't live together, no one will question the affair.  :P ;)
