I have a problem with NPC Horses. Help?

Bye accident, I deleted the wild horse herd in my game. Is there a way to create a new free roaming herd? I thought that there was a cheat, that can be used to turn Sims into NPCs but now I can't find it. I thought that if it would work on pets, I could make my herd that way. If I wait long enough, is it possible that a new wild horse herd will spawn on it's own?

The  reason that I deleted the horses was because they were stuck in the ground. I tried  a number of things but could not get them out.

I think, if given time, the game will generate new wild horses.

Were they stuck on your home lot?

I too think they should respawn, the game has a set number for strays and wild animals. If you want to be certain, you can get Twallan's Register mod, which allows you to set the number of stray dogs and cats, deer, racoons and wild horses in your world. As an added bonus, it can also turn of paparazzis.

Hi Korva and Dellena. The horses were stuck at the gym lot with two old men and a woman Sim. The woman was from my active household  and the men were from two other households. I was able to get them out by making them teleport to their home lots. They were just about to go see the Grim Reaper. Which might have been interesting. It would be interesting to see if their ghost would have been stuck too. I didn't think of it at the time.

After I teleported the Sim people I used a cheat and deleted the horses. Before that, I tried to use the terrain tool and lower the ground around the horses but it didn't work. Too bad it wasn't like Red Dead Redemption, I could  have roped them and pulled them out, like you would a real stuck horse.

Did you use the moveobjects on to delete them?

Did you think to try the global reset before you deleted them?   By using "resetSim *"  it would have reset the whole town including the horses.
