I have been playing the Sims successfully until I installed the patch and seasons (already have Base, Ambitions, Generations and Pets). I can play in CAS or Edit Town fine, but the second I load the gameplay, it crashes within 30 seconds - 5 mins max. I just get a frozen screen, can't do anything and have to hard reboot or CTRL-ALT-DEL and see the "Sims 3 is not responding". Here's what I have done to troubleshoot:
1. Reinstalled the whole series in the correct order
2. Updated the individual EPs as I went along.
3. Added all Base and Expansion TWS3.exe files to the DEP Exclusions
4. updated my graphics card driver
5. Ran all system updates for Windows
I run on Windows 7 64bit, I have enough RAM, I believe everything is up to date. Not running any mods or CC.
I have uninstalled Seasons and tried to play as I had it before, but it's still the same.
I'm happy to paste in my DxDiag. I can't see how it could be a PC problem as it ran perfectly before I installed the patch/Seasons.
Can anyone help me? I'm at my wits end with this, I've been trying to fix it for 4 days and haven't been able to play it at all!

What's your operating system, Windows or Mac? Windows 7, 64 bit.
Are you using Mods or CC? (without getting too specific) None.
What Expansion and Stuff packs do you have? Ambitions, Generations, Pets, Seasons.
When did you last uninstall/reinstall the game? Last night! And completely new install, no backup etc
What were you doing at the time of the issue? The game had just loaded to the screen where she had just moved into the house, I tried to click on something and it wouldn't work. CAS worked fine.
Is your game up to date? What is your current version? Yes. 16.0.136.019017
