Can I just ask why we aren't allowed to use store items (except the free ones)? Since the forumers do the voting, no one actually needs to download the house to vote or rate it, so I'm a bit confused at the reason for this rule. Please enlighten me

It's mainly due to the wealth factor. Some people are unable to spend the same amounts of money on the Store as others and we already have advantages for those who can afford Expansions and Stuff Packs due to extra content and more choice. We'll never get a completely level field but we will try to keep it as fair as we can.

For example if there was a Sci-Fi themed contest then those who are able to spend money at the store to purchase the Futureshock Sets and the Lunar Lakes World are at a distinct advantage since the items in those are perfect for a Sci-Fi theme.

Does that make sense?
