Patch 1.48

This small patch appears to have broken a few things, I only just found out as I wanted to use the new updo from Monte Vista for my sims wedding and it wasn't there.

It would seem the hairstyles that came with Monte Vista, the slanted beret for toddlers and Braided, Bundled and Beaded for kids from the store plus some roof styles mainly from pets have vanished in game.

But SimGuruKelly posted they are aware of it and working on a fix in another thread about the invisible cake that came with Monte Vista. Something else I discovered at my sims wedding, still it's very slimming.

I wish I'd googled it before uninstalling all my downloads and then reinstalling for no purpose but anyway good to know they are working on it, and I thought I'd post it here in case anybody else finds they have missing hair, at least they will know why.

Ah, so that is why that cake was invisible.  Talk about empty calories, lol.

I'm not 1.48 patched and I have also the cake problem.  Waiting for fix news...

Store Content Patch V2.2  Released !
This Store update includes the following changes:

        Updated appropriate clothing to be selectable as Outerwear when playing with The Sims 3 Seasons.
        Disabled random selection on some pieces of clothing so Sims won’t use them unless specifically directed to.
        Fixed an issue where users were not seeing the cake slice that came with the Happily Ever Frosted wedding cake in Monte Vista.
        Fixed an issue where users were missing several Create-A-Sim assets, including the La Dolce Vita Updo and Tuscan Hat from Monte Vista.

So it seems to fix the cake bug .
