Problem Accessing Carl's Guide on Tablet
« on: February 28, 2014, 03:21:23 PM »
Hey there!  I've been a long-time fan of the site.  Lately, however, whenever I try to access it on my tablet, the ads keep diverting to another website - I can't simply go back because it takes me to the site I was at before I went to Carl's.  I have blocks to pop-ups but not to ads that divert you to another site.  Is there anything you can suggest or do with the ad companies?  It's particularly important as I tend to access the site from my tablet because I'm stuck on something in the game, thus my desktop is occupied with that ;)

Thanks in advance!

This doesn't answer the tablet question, but if your desktop is a PC, you can use ALT+TAB to switch out of the Sims 3 game without closing it and use your browser, then go back into Sims when you're ready.

Welcome to our Forum, jaimebluesq.

I'll let Carl know about your problem.  Does this happen on both the Guide and the Forum?

My question is, what site are you taken to? I do not subscribe to ad programs that turn the site into a circus, so would want to report that ad to our networks for they are running scripts that are not allowed as per terms of use. Naturally when someone visits, I want them to be able to read our articles.
