Need help regarding raiding abandoned warehouse

Hi, simmies. I am currently at level 10 of the Law Enforcement career and I thought that I would be able to raid the warehouse. I have played for awhile, but I still have not received any special warrant yet? I would like to know how often sims get the warrant. Is there a way to get it faster and is there a way to get it by cheating?

We'd need more information. Such as, confirmation that your sim did go with the International Spy route, and not the Forensics route. What precisely you mean by "not received any special warrant." If you're waiting to receive an item in the mail or something, I do not believe International Super Spies work like that. I've never actually played that branch, so someone else will need to confirm, but I'm pretty sure that in order to do the raid, you just click on the Criminal Headquarters, and you should receive an option to conduct a raid.

Also, what town are you playing? I know that Riverview has an empty warehouse property, and I'd like to confirm you're not in Riverview, trying to raid an empty warehouse instead of the criminal headquarters.

Yes, I am 100% sure I am in the international spy route. I searched around online for answers to my questions as well, and many websites stated that a spy will receive a special warrant to conduct a raid, meaning I will need to receive a warrant before I am able to conduct a raid. I have not received one after playing for a few sim weeks which bothers me. I am currently in Sunset Valley.

Do me a favor and humor me.

Next time you start your game, make sure the plumbbob is on the spy. Then go to the criminal headquarters and see if you have an option to conduct a raid.

My 45 second Google-fu tells me that's all you need to do, since the warrant isn't an actual in-game object.

Receiving a warrant does not necessarily mean receiving an item, it could just be a notification. I'm looking for someone who has done it before to clarify in order to determine that there is not a bug around. I thank you for the help.

It is a while since I've played a international spy, Shirin is right click on the criminal warehouse and your sim will get a option to raid criminals.

May I know if there is a specific time that allows me to do that? This is a very buggy game, it could have been due to me being a master thief before I joined the law enforcement career.

Maybe someone here has a fix or has a way to go around it?

I realise I did not receive a notification when I reached level 10 saying that I can now raid the hideout. Do you receive one after reaching level 10?

It's been a while since I've played a spy, but for me I believe the raid came up in the form of an opportunity roughly 2-3 days after reaching level 10. You'll have another couple of days to complete the raid once the opp is accepted.

After that I think you get the option every 3-4 days, but I don't recall if it's another opportunity or if it's just a matter of clicking on the hideout - I think it's another opp though.

Once a sim reaches level 10 in the law enforcement of the special agent branch, he should get a notification that he is now given a secret warrant to raid criminal hideout. It is like a trigger. Without this trigger, the ability to raid is not 'unlocked'. Hope I am clear enough.

Although I have not found a cure to this problem, I will post it up once Ii have it. Hope this has helped many others out there, you are not alone

Isn't this a hidden trait hinges that passes on police man to the next generation? Marry a police man and your offspring will be blessed with the 'Can fight burglar' trait. I am thinking this might have something to do with it but when my sim rises to the top level of his career he simply could raid the warehouse, but just once a night I thought.

I haven't played the Law Enforcement branch a lot, but I thought the raiding of the warehouse was just an opportunity that comes along.  Like any other opportunity, there's no guarantee that it will come at any certain time.

If it is indeed an opportunity, make sure your opportunity slots are clear. I'm out right now, but I'll see what I can dig up from the code tonight.
