Brag about Being a Doctor

I have a game with two Sims, one a writer and the other a sculptor.  Neither of them has ever had any other job.  And yet both of them have the option to "brag about being a doctor" in their Friendly interactions.  I'm wondering if this could possibly  have anything to do with both of them knowing the alchemy skill.  Does anyone know?  It seems very strange to have non-medical types bragging about being a doctor, unless the alchemy skill somehow makes them a sort of healer.  Or maybe it's just a weird glitch in my game.

Hmmm, my witch founder supermaxed alchemy but I've never seen that interaction.  She even has the Mystic Healer LTW completed, but she still can't pass herself off as a doctor, lol

Really?  Well, then it's a mystery to me.  The alchemy thing was the only explanation I could think of.

Maybe my Sims are just hoping to get hired on at the Treatment Centre!

I will pay attention on future play throughs. I am quite sure none of my sims have career in medical fields, since I havent played with that career yet. The closest thing to it is I tend to ask Elvira Slayer, my favourite vampire, to move in with us. I checked all my families with her in it and she doesnt have the option to brag.

This is one of my new sim, she is a lvl 6 cook yet she is able to brag about being a doctor. This is the first time I see this option for her. I asked her boss over so that I can request for a promotion, since, as you can see, the performance bar is almost close to the top.

I checked and the dialogue option is suppose to be available after reaching medical career level 6. Pastry chef is also a level 6 job. I checked her employment history and she used to be an organ donor. The developers probably only bothered to check for employment in medical, then career level 6. Maybe thats why we get something like this.

You're right, SimFreeek.  I just checked and both my Sims had "organ donor" in their employment history.  The reason I didn't think of that was they had never actually worked in the medical career  and I didn't remember it.  Probably what happened is that they both popped a wish to work in the medical career and I satisfied it to get the happiness points, then had them resign immediately.  Interesting that such a brief time in the medical career gives them the ability to brag about being a doctor!

That in very interesting. I wonder if there is any other kind of cross-over happening we don't know about.

Saltpastillen, I havent saw any weird dialogue option aside from this one.

Anyway, in my game I still have the free clinic bug, that causes my performance to drop once it ends and people complains. It is really annoying especially when I want to get the skeleton endowment. Ugh.
