My sims-game has been reset, what do I do?
« on: November 07, 2012, 12:39:25 PM »
I was going to play the sims 3 after a few weeks break. I came across some old downloads, and i copied and pasted it into a random folder of the sims 3. I also had do download the latest game-upgrade, but when i started my game, everything was reset! The screen resolution, my sims were gone and all the mods were gone from my game. When i press the "installed programs (the installed downloads) its blank and doesn't find anything in the start menu.

It looks like my game has reset itself, and all my data of the game has dissapeared.

But, I tok a backup of all my games when i changed my PC (i got a new one, and copied all my savings from the game i had installed). I can't seem to get it to work. When i installed all the cd's on my new computer, I tried to "replace" the new folders with the old and that didn't work.

What do I do? Is my saved game lost forever?
