Adding a friend keeps on respawning

Hi there,

Of late, the following has been happening.

While playing, I get a message telling me that someone wants to be my friend. (It just so happens to be Ricalynn). I accept her as a friend on my wall and it tells me that Ricalynn has been added. I return to playing the game and then shortly after, the same message pops up again ie that someone wants to be my friend. I go in there, and it is Ricalynn again. I've tried saving and exiting the game, and starting again, same issue starts. I then play a different game, same thing again.

Additionally, when I go and look at my friends list, there is only one there, another member of our forum here (Ladygaga or similar) . The issues that I am currently experiencing did not occur after I added that first friend.

Any ideas/suggestions?

This is new ever since the latest update to "My Page".  It still says that you need to accept me as a friend.  It also says two other members that I'm friends with still need to be accepted.    From what I read on the forums is it will take up to 24 hours or more for the page to realize that the action has already been handled.
