Grouping Up

Hi guys my sim friends seems to randomly group up with mine and it is kind of annoying. I wonder what is the criteria for visiting sims to group up with you?

If your sim invite someone over, they automatically group up.
Try and let your sim greet them before they knock.

Hmm, but sometimes they do not group up. This is really confusing. lol

For me it used to be if I invited someone over and had my sim in house when they showed up and I invited them in before they rang the door bell they wouldn't group automatically. But if I was outside or let them ring the bell they would group.
But since the last patch, no matter what as soon as they set foot on the lot they are grouped with my sim.
And I agree, it is kind of annoying.

I know right? Sometimes I just want to satisfy a want (invite sim over) and I was just gonna tell them to leave right away. But then no, they want to group up with me and if I leave the group I am going to get a bad group outing moodlet, ugh.

It really sucks when you invite a vampire over and they barely get in the door before they've already burnt up enough to leave, telling you it was the worst outing ever.

Chuckles, yes dont you just hate that? Those vampires are really getting on my nerves. =(

Grimsoul, in certain games points are not easy to come by. That reward and legendary host really takes the fun out of the game too. But yes sometimes I just dont care and just take the reward to make things easier.

That's true, sometime points an be tough to come by. It's not a reward I buy early.
But sense I look at the auto group thing as a bug myself I sometimes just cheat and ctrl-click the moodlet off and don't worry about it.
If I get a bad moodlet from a group I started, that's my fault and I live with it but getting it from a group I didn't even want to begin with is different.
