Some semi-modern stuff such as Disturbed, and Drowning Pool.
Some older stuff like Iron Maiden, Dead Kennedys and Ramones. I found it amusing to have my sim listen to Alexander the Great before I send him or her to Egypt.
Some game music like One Winged Angel and We're Pirates. (Both are from various Final Fantasy volumes, if you're curious.)
Voltaire is a favorite, as well. Especially when I'm making an Evil sim or a law enforcement sim. Because I'm Evil and Goodnight, Demon Slayer just seem to fit.
Then, there's The Devil's Trill as done by Vanessa Mae....
I stuck Thank God I'm A Country Boy in there for the sole benefit of my gardener.
Of course, there was Gackt doing his song Redemption and the Black Mages doing Vamo' Allo Flamenco. (Yes, I am a rabid Final Fantasy fan. Your point? )

So... in short? A very mixed up mix.

So I’m not the only one who throws completely random songs into playlists. Nice to know.
I have about 4 hours worth of stuff built up by now. I’m currently trying to sort through it and find out which ones I want to have in my game, ’cause it sums up to a little under 300MB as it is now.

My Sims listen to Adam Ant, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Johnny Cash, Led Zepplin, John Mellencamp, ZZ Top, Nickelback and I don't remember what else right now.
